A launching session of recently approved project AURORAL, led by Alentejo region, ERRIN's member, will take place on 13th January.
The H2020-AURORAL project aims to provide the European Union with a dense network of “Smart Communities”, with a particular focus on rural regions and the establishment on a continent-wide basis of an integrated digital environment that enhances innovative services. (http://www.auroral.eu/). The H2020-AURORAL project, whose proposal was developed by IrRADIARE, was approved by the European Commission, under H2020, for this network of “Smart Communities”. The H2020-AURORAL project is led by CCDR-Alentejo and started on January 1, 2021, simultaneously with the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.
AURORAL's Launching session that is an official part of City x City Festival, will be held on January 13th, 2021, between 16h00 -17h00 CET. The name of the session is Rural Smart Communities and will include the key note interventions from:
