The European Commission is organising a webinar on 2nd March focusing on Big Data Test Infrastructure (BDTI). The event will explain what BDTI is and provide insights on how it can help European Public Administrations to analyse and experiment with big data, move towards data-driven decision making, and create synergies with other organisations, enlarging their own network and collaboration opportunities.
Public sector entities and agencies are invited to participate to discover how BDTI can help find new ways to draw data-driven insights for strategic decision making. The webinar will also offer an opportunity to learn about the experience of a pilot project conducted within BDTI for Norwegian public procurement. Different presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.

The BDTI supports public administrations with the necessary technical documentation, tools and services to test and prototype analytics and Big Data solutions. It is provided by the European Commission as part of the Digital Europe programme. It allows public administrations to focus on gathering knowledge, insight and value from their data, instead of setting up and maintaining a complex experimental environment.
