This Blue Economy Working Group meeting will address the question: How to make the Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 work? The aim is to create an exchange and discussion around the Mission implementation process between regional stakeholders from the different lighthouse basins involved in activities related to the Mission objectives and the Mission Secretariat.

The Mission Secretariat will provide an update on the state of the Mission, focusing on the role of regions in the Mission and the next steps in its implementation. Regional stakeholders will present the challenges that they experience in the implementation process and the support they would need to make the Mission work in their local context. The aim is to create an interactive exchange and a common understanding of how to proceed to make the Mission a reality in all European regions.
