Boosting circular economy in the transition towards climate neutrality

The Interreg MED Green Growth project, in which ERRIN is a partner, is organising its final event 'Boosting circular economy in the transition towards climate neutrality' in Brussels on 1 June. Taking place the day after the EU Green Week conference in Brussels, the event presents a perfect opportunity for participants to combine both events and to network with circular economy enthusiasts from across Europe.

The Green Growth Community gathers 17 projects and has in the past six years achieved tangible results in the areas of food systems, eco-innovation, smart cities, and waste management - contributing to tackling the key priorities of the EU Green Deal and the EU Circular Economy Action Plan.

The final event will present an opportunity to meet representatives from the Green Growth Community, while discussing the role of businesses and public authorities in the transition towards climate neutrality and taking part of the project’s best practices in supporting these actors across the Euro-Mediterranean region. The agenda also includes interventions by representatives of regional authorities and European institutions who will share their visions and mission.
