INFORM-PRIORITIZE-COLLABORATE: COOPERATION OF REGIONS ON INNOVATION IN FOREST MANAGEMENT, USE OF WOOD AND FOREST-RELATED SERVICES

The Forest Innovation Workshop is a biennial European initiative which promotes networking and exchanges among the community of forestry and wood industry innovators and actors. It focuses on the following four thematic areas:

a. Managing Impacts related to Climate Change;
b. Supporting Wood and Biomass Mobilisation;
c. Supporting the Provision of Ecosystem Services;
d. Improving Sustainable Forest Management Approaches and Tools.

The 2020 workshop edition will be hosted by the ROSEWOOD Network, a Horizon 2020 funded Coordination and Support Action which main target is the enhancement of sustainable wood mobilisation through inter-regional knowledge transfer.

Call for expression of interest - Become a speaker at the 4th Forest Innovation Workshop and the ROSEWOOD Network conference

We are looking for speakers who can present the experience from relevant EIP AGRI Operational Groups (concluded or still active) which activities focuses on at least one of the four thematic areas.

Invited speakers will participate in a conference organised in Florence (Tuscany) on 15-16 January 2020. They will have up to 20 minute to present relevant outlines of activities and results of the Operational Group and will participate to brokerage sessions organised on 15 and 16 January 2020, answering to questions from the audience on their activities.

Application process will close on 11 November at 2pm (CET).
