An upcoming high-level conference will focus on how the European knowledge and innovation community can benefit from goal-orientated, hybrid innovations, new business models and creative technologies. 'Cities, Design, Innovation' is co-organised by the City of Umeå, RISE, Industry Commons Foundation and Umeå University. 

The event will take place in Umeå and online for those unable to travel. The event will be opened by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel, ahead of two-days of discussions on the EIT CCI KIC, how the sector is leading on gender equality and inclusion, cross-domain innovation and more.
