Save the Date: CO-WATERS Needs Assessment Workshop

CO-WATERS will host an in-person Needs Assessment Workshop on 4 March 2026 (15:00–17:00). Facilitated by Stickydot, it is designed to be highly participatory, creating space for direct dialogue, shared reflection, and collective sense-making across CO-WATERS services.

Purpose of the workshop

Your perspectives are essential to help us better understand what is needed and expected in practice, and to ensure that CO-WATERS services are designed in a way that is relevant and useful for territories and stakeholders working on the ground. The workshop will focus on examining current challenges and practical contexts in order to inform the future development of CO-WATERS services.

CO-WATERS services - at a glance

CO-WATERS offers a range of complementary services that territories can engage with depending on their priorities and level of ambition, including:

  • Networking and peer learning, through thematic working groups, twinning and peer collaboration, and knowledge exchange workshops

  • Hands-on capacity building, via interactive trainings on system thinking, stakeholder engagement and sustainable finance

  • Citizen and stakeholder engagement support, including Blue Climathons and practical local stakeholder engagement workbook

  • Funding and financial support, through a dedicated guide, webinars and “Pitch & Connect” session linking territories with solution providers and investors

  • Mission Ocean & Waters Label, with technical assistance supporting ambitious transition plans and EU-level recognition

During the session, we want to actively hear your voice. We will gather your feedback and open a discussion on which of these services are most relevant to your specific context, and how they can be shaped to best support your work connected to the Mission Ocean & Waters.
