The COP 27 EU side event on 'How regions with heaving industry can manage a just transition : leaving no one behind' will take place online on 17 November between 11:30 and 12:30.

DG REGIO’s COP27 side event will showcase the European approach to just transition, with aims at leaving no one behind in the transition to European climate neutrality by 2050. The event panel, composed of speakers coming from different parts of the world (not only the EU) will reflect on how the EU approach can be exported to the global scale and at the same time, how can the European Union draw lessons from the global context to improve the just transition process in Europe.
