Contact tracing is an important tool to stop COVID-19 spreading. Following the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, many governments and regional authorities are rolling out contact tracing apps.

SAPHIRe is hosting an online workshop to serve as a platform for ongoing discussions about the uptake and adherence these apps, as well as accuracy and privacy concerns related to them. The workshop will be a chance to better understand the different approaches of contact tracing apps. 

Topics that will be discussed include:

• The privacy and security of contact tracing apps
