Creative Skills Week: Local Skills Partnerships – Marketplace
As part of the Creative Skills Week 2026 programme, ERRIN will contribute to the session 'Local Skills Partnerships – Marketplace' on Tuesday 8 September, from 09:30 to 11:00 at LUCA School of Arts.
Organised in collaboration with the Creative Pact for Skills, the interactive session will explore how local and regional ecosystems can translate European skills priorities into effective regional partnerships. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the evolving European policy landscape (the Union of Skills, the Pact for Skills) and explore how these initiatives can be implemented through place-based collaboration.
Bringing together regional authorities, education providers, industry representatives, SMEs and intermediary organisations, the session will facilitate peer exchange on establishing and strengthening regional skills partnerships. Participants will share practical experiences, learn from successful approaches across sectors and discuss how collaborative governance models can help address current and future skills needs.
ERRIN's contribution reflects the ongoing work of the Culture and Creativity Cluster's Skills Workstream and the Science and Education for Society Working Group, which promotes knowledge exchange and collaboration on skills development, lifelong learning and talent attraction across European regions. By connecting regional experiences with European policy developments, the session will offer valuable insights into how regional partnerships can help build resilient, future-oriented skills ecosystems.
