The Permanent Representation of Spain to the EU is organising a workshop "Deep tech ventures in Europe: when gazelles meet dolphins" on 15 September 2023 from 10:00-13:00 in person in Brussels.

The workshop aims to delve into the potential that deep tech entrepreneurship has to transform the technological excellence that exists in Europe into GDP; thus articulating new supply chains that could help diversify into higher value-added markets integrating local suppliers and SMEs; creating high-quality jobs in deep tech start-ups; and ultimately ensuring the strategic autonomy of Europe that will benefit our economies and societies.

Like dolphins, Europe’s future start-ups need to dive deeper into science in order to jump higher, becoming the next generation of gazelles that drive transformative change to create economic value and address the grand societal challenges of our time.
