DigitalHealthEurope: webinar on Citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders

The project DigitalHealthEurope provides comprehensive support to the Digital Health and Care Innovation initiative in the context of the Digital Single Market Strategy. The project's approach involves several actions that will boost innovation and advance the Digital Single Market priorities for the digital transformation of health and care (DTHC), as outlined in the European Commission's 2018 Communication on the topic. The priorities concern:

  • Citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders;
  • Better data to advance research, disease prevention and personalised health and care;
  • Digital tools for citizen empowerment and person-centred care.

This webinar is dedicated to the priority “Citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data across borders” – Work Package 4.

The webinar aims to bring together EU, national and regional initiatives, relevant projects, key stakeholder representatives to widen citizen access to data relevant to their health through health empowerment tools. It will allow for the identification of existing practices, different approaches, key issues, barriers and success factors.

The main goal is to share and gather information for a better citizen access and control of health data, with all the analysed information so far in WP4.

In this webinar you can participate by making questions and provide some inputs on your experience in this subject!

We also invite you to present a topic related to citizen access and control of health data and on citizen-controlled data sharing governance!
