The Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership is organising an online Info Day on 9 September 2026 (10:00–13:00 CEST) to present the upcoming DUT Call 2026, which officially opens on 1 September.
The webinar is intended for researchers, cities, public authorities, companies and other stakeholders interested in preparing a proposal under the 2026 call. Participants will receive practical guidance on the application process, eligibility rules and call topics, while also having the opportunity to ask questions directly to the DUT Call Secretariat and national funding agencies.
The agenda includes:
An overview of the DUT Call 2026, including thematic priorities and call topics;
Key dates, eligibility criteria and the two-stage application process;
Guidance on finding partners through the DUT matchmaking platform;
A Q&A session on transnational rules;
National breakout sessions with funding agencies to discuss country-specific requirements.
The DUT Call 2026 supports transnational research and innovation projects contributing to climate-neutral and resilient cities through the Partnership's three Transition Pathways:
15-minute City;
Circular Urban Economies;
Positive Energy Districts.
The call also introduces a cross-cutting topic on the adaptive reuse of existing urban structures and spaces, encouraging integrated approaches across the three pathways. Proposals must involve at least three partners from three participating countries, including a municipality or local authority.
