The official online launch event for the European Climate Pact is planned for 16 December 2020 in the morning. The online event will kick-start the Pact operations following the publication of the European Commission's Communication on the Pact. The event will introduce the Pact and possible ways of getting involved in it. It will also showcase inspirational climate initiatives by those who are already active.

•  A discussion about upcoming Climate Pact pledges
•  With the participation of Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice President of the European Commission, responsible for the European Green Deal, and a possibility to ask him questions via Sli.do! A detailed agenda will be available soon.

Satellite events

To capture the wealth and diversity of the existing climate action everybody is invited to organise Climate Pact satellite events. Such events: big and small, local and EU wide, are a space to hold discussions in different languages, reach out to local communities, focus on specific topics or highlight the role of particular sectors in the Climate Pact.
