Europe is facing the major challenge of accelerating its digital transformation and ensuring that businesses, public administrations and citizens can fully benefit from the opportunities offered by digitalisation. In this process, the focus has moved to AI and quantum technologies in recent years. Private and public organisations are investing heavily, and Europe, like other regions in the world, is seeing advances at great speed.

In this context, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) have been playing an important role in supporting organisations, particularly SMEs, in their digital transformation and in strengthening regional digital ecosystems. Several years after the European Commission launched the EDIH initiative, it is an appropriate time to take stock of its implementation, share experiences, and reflect on the role that DIHs can play in shaping Europe’s digitalisation in this changing landscape.

With this in mind, BEST_DIH project partners are pleased to invite you to attend our workshop, which will be held in Brussels on 14 October, at the premises of the Galicia Europe Foundation.

The event will provide a forum to discuss the future of digitalisation in Europe and the role that Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) can play in it, and to reflect on the challenges and opportunities ahead for the digitalisation of Europe. The registration is available here.
