European Mission Soil Week 2026

European Mission Soil Week 2026

The European Mission Soil Week will take place in Dublin and online on 17 and 18 November 2026. Registration for the online participation is still possible.

The European Mission Soil Week is the flagship annual event of the Horizon Europe Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’. It brings together the European soil community to exchange knowledge, showcase progress and innovative solutions, and strengthen cooperation towards healthier soils across Europe. Researchers, policymakers, farmers, land managers, businesses, financial institutions, civil society organisations and citizens come together to discuss challenges and opportunities for soil protection and restoration and to accelerate the transition towards sustainable soil management.

On the first day of the event, 17 November, a plenary session will be dedicated to 'bringing soil health to the territories', addressing regions and multi-level governance in the implementation of the Soil monitoring and resilience directive.

On the second day of the event, 18 November, there will be four sessions dedicated to presenting dedicated project results on:

  1. Monitoring and assessing soil health
  2. Sustainable soil management, circularity and restoration
  3. Carbon farming, climate action and viable business models
  4. Soil literacy, engagement, and uptake

These sessions will showcase concrete results and innovative solutions emerging from Mission Soil funded projects, explore opportunities for practical uptake and scale-up, and provide an opportunity to meet with the teams behind these innovations. All four sessions can be followed online. The one taking place in the plenary room will be also interpreted into French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Registration to join the event online is still possible. Learn more, see the full agenda and register here.
