Under the scope of the Portuguese Presidency of the European Council, ERRIN member Alentejo is one of the organisers of a summit of local and regional communities sharing a common vision for a smarter tomorrow. The summit will take place online and in Évora from 3 - 9 May.
The European Regions for Smart Communities Summit aims to:
- Boost Smart Communities as a driver to implement the Digital Decade, European Green Del, Recovery and Resilience and the New European Bauhaus
- Contribute to enhancing regional and community roles in implementing the digital decade with support from the Recovery and Resilience Facility
- Promote the continuity of presidencies' agendas, critical to improving Europe's success in digital and data sovereignty policies.
