The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region – Brussels Liason Office is pleased to invite you to take part in the workshop “A cross-border European Capital of Culture: new challenges for cohesion policy” which will be held on 10 October 2023, from 14:30 to 15:30, in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2023 (CoR Jacques Delors building, JDE 53).

Gorizia and Nova Gorica jointly won the title of ‘European Capital of Culture 2025’ making it the first time that this title is truly cross-border.The Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, together with the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development of Slovenia and the GECT GO, will present the opportunities and challenges that the twin cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica are facing.
