This session at the European Week of Regions and cities will explore the ways in which cultural and creative industries (CCI) can use technology to contribute to innovation and job creation. Cultural and Creative Regional Ecosystems (CCRE-S3) is a new thematic area under the S3 Platform for Industrial Modernisation, which aims to stimulate industry growth through the implementation of new technologies in the sector.

The workshop will use examples of different regional and territorial challenges, with a special emphasis on the role that CCI can play in the post-crisis recovery.
