Green and Digital Transition in the Recovery Plans: The sovereignty of technology and innovation

Under the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Portuguese Innovation Agency (ANI) and the European Association of Research & Technology Organisations (EARTO) are organising the event “Green and Digital Transition in the Recovery Plans: The sovereignty of technology and innovation”. The event will take place on Monday 26 April at 10.00 (CEST) and will be live-streamed.

This international event aims to debate the Green and Digital transition in the context of the recovery plans, with a focus on the role of technology and innovation in the development and promotion of regional, national and European tech capabilities.

The conference will count on the participation of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal, Manuel Heitor, and will have three panels dedicated to the theme. The first panel will highlight RTOs (Research & Technology Organisations) as synergies builders to the recovery instruments; the second panel will be dedicated to the Green & Digital transition towards the development of regional and national tech capabilities; and the last panel will debate key technologies for this transition.
