To celebrate the involvement of the growing number of cities joining the Green City Accord community, a high-level signatory ceremony will take place online in September. The Green City Accord sees local authorities commit to ambitious environmental goals by 2030, relating to air, water, nature, biodiversity, circular economy, waste and noise.

The agreement works to unite European cities as they face more and more challenges relating to health, pollution, urban sprawl and environmental protection. 

The ceremony will include a contribution from the European Commissioner for the environment, oceans and fisheries.
