Uptake of Innovation in Hospitals through Skills Development The demographic issue of the ageing society is one of the key challenges facing the European society today. The health care sector needs to change and to integrate innovative solutions in order to cope – but new technology demands new skills. This event will focus on innovation in hospitals and the crucial need for continuous skill development of healthcare professionals. The event will consist of three key speakers followed by a panel discussion with the opportunity for extensive audience participation. The speakers and panellists will present their knowledge on digital skill uptake strategies, barriers for implementation of innovation and why there’s a need for continuous education and training of healthcare professionals.
