As the risks of heavy rain increase across Europe, public authorities must develop their capacities to cope with consequential hazards. Transnational cooperation will provide important support for regions, municipalities and local actors to mitigate the risks of heavy rain. A thematic exchange on the subject will be presented online this June.

During the event, examples will be shared from Austria and Germany,  via the Interreg Central Europe project RAINMAN. The event has been redesigned to take place online, having initially being planned to take place at the Saxony Liaison Office in Brussels.
