Heritage Days 2025 - The art and design of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Brussels

Following its selection by Urban Brussels and the successful start to 2024, the Brussels Office of Friuli Venezia Giulia will be reopening its neoclassical building on Rue du Commerce to the public. The opening will be held on the week-end of the 20-21 September.

Several information spots will be set up in the main building and the ancient 'Orangerie' of the premises, located in the heart of the European quarter, giving visitors the chance to learn more about the region's excellence.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is the location of both the first cross-border European Capital of Culture (GO2025) and the upcoming Italian Capital of Culture (Pordenone 2027, 'Città che sorprende').

The two-day event, focused on the themes of beauty and architecture, will also serve as a platform to showcase the Friuli Venezia Giulia 'Wood, Furniture, Home Cluster'.

The European Consortium NEBA (New European Bauhaus Alliance) has recently selected the Cluster to join the South Hub of the 'NEB Academy'. The Academy, as part of the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking, seeks to establish a European network of training centres focused on improving skills in sustainable construction. The Cluster will showcase its "Innovation Platforms" as a hub for innovative eco-design and sustainability projects to an audience of architects, urban planners, scholars and enthusiasts.
