The Portuguese Presidency of the European Council will next week officially launch Horizon Europe, the EU's next ambitious R&I framework programme. 

Topics that will be discussed at the launch include:

• Mobilising synergies in Horizon Europe and Next Generation EU
• Promoting green and digital transitions across all EU regions in the renewed European Research Area (ERA)
• Preparing a resilient recovery through a renewed ERA.

The full programme includes contributions from Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth and Jean-Eric Paquet, Director General, DG RTD.
