I3 Instrument online infoday

I3 Instrument online infoday

The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) organises an online information day on 23 June from 14:30-17:30 CEST about the new Interregional Innovation Investment (I3) Instrument calls.

The first I3 calls for proposals, with a budget of € 145 million, were published in November 2021. The goal of the infoday is to help potential applicants prepare quality applications for the next round with the deadline of 18 October 2022. The EISMEA will present details of what is expected of a successful application, an outline of how to apply for the calls, and how to build on lessons learned from the earlier round of the same calls.

Learn more and register by 22 June here. The meeting will be recorded and available for viewing afterwards.

If the I3 Instrument is of your interest, please note that ERRIN's Smart Specialisation Working Group organised an I3 Project Development Session on 23 May. The first part of the event also featured a speaker from EISMEA who shared recommendations and lessons learnt from the first I3 calls in the context of preparations for the next October round. In addition, applicants in the first I3 calls took part in the event, sharing practical insights and pointing out the benefits and disadvantages of the process. A 1-hour project development session resumed after a short break with pitches from ERRIN members looking for partners to submit proposals under different strands and topics for the 18 October cut-off date. ERRIN members may find all the presentations from the event here.
