ICT 2020: Leading the Digital Age

The European Commission, the German Presidency and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research will jointly host 'ICT 2020: Leading the Digital Age' in Cologne at the end of this year.

The high-level policy conference will address the growing impact of data and digital technologies on life in Europe, from their role in the coronavirus pandemic to reconstruction and global development in the future. The event will draw on the European Digital Strategy in its mission to make Europe and Europeans fit for the digital age, one of the Commission's priorities.

ICT 2020 is positioned at the start of a new EU MFF (2021-2027) and will present collaboration opportunties offered by Horizon Europe and the Digital Europe Programme. The conference will also include an interactive exhibition of EU-funded ICT projects, networking opportunties and more. It will see 5000 researchers, innovators and engineers from across the field exchange with policymakers, investors and venture capitalists.
