On 9 December, ERRIN's ICT Working Group invites its Brussels-based representatives to a guided site visit at the FARI – AI for the Common Good Institute, jointly initiated by ULB and VUB in collaboration with the Brussels-Capital Region.
The visit will focus on FARI's Computer Augmented Virtual Environment (CAVE): a large-scale immersive simulation space combining three large screens, ceiling and floor projections, and 3D motion-tracking technology. The CAVE allows policymakers, researchers and urban planners to visualise and simulate digital content and virtual objects that closely mirror real-world experiences from urban planning scenarios to digital twins of the Brussels-Capital Region.
