Cities Northern Netherlands, with the province of Overijssel, is to present a webinar on the crucial contribution of small and medium inland ports in the transition to a sustainable and circular mobility sector. The webinar will discuss the benefits of enhanced circularity for people, businesses, regions and cities. 

The session will focus on the increasingly important role inland ports play in the greening of Europe's transport system, with envisioned changes providing an opportunity for inland ports to be developed as circular green energy hubs. The combination of circularity and transport is seen as a crucial step towards achieving the European Green Deal.
