DG SANTE is hosting a webinar to launch the 2023 Country Cancer Profiles of the European Cancer Inequalities Registry. The webinar will take place from 09:30-10:30 on 2 February.

The European Cancer Inequalities Registry is a flagship initiative of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. It provides sound and reliable data on cancer prevention and care to identify trends, disparities and inequalities between Member States and regions.

The Country Cancer Profiles shed light on key achievements and challenges in cancer prevention and care for each EU Member State, Norway and Iceland. The objective is to identify inequalities and disparities within each country and compare them to the situation in the EU as a whole. This can support policy-makers and help guide investment and interventions at the EU, national and regional levels under Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
