The state of Hessen with GSI, FAIR and HFHF are organising an online event 'Meet a Scientist' on 3 December. The meeting will explore the increasing relevance of science communication in EU affairs and projects and the important opportunity it poses to bring science, and scientific careers, to younger generations. 

The Hessian project 'Meet a Scientist offers high-school students and their teachers a platform to exchange with scientists from GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research and the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR). Students can also access information on study and career choices.
