ERRIN Natural Resources and Food Cluster is organising its kickoff meeting on 9 February from 9:00 to 11:45.  

This informal coffee meeting will offer an opportunity for all members to come together to network and jointly kick- off the activities of the Bioeconomy Working Group, the Blue Economy Working Group and the Adaptation Task Force for 2024. 

We will welcome European Commission’s speaker, Peter Wehrheim, Head of the Food Systems and Bioeconomy Unit, to look forward to 2024 and present ongoing and forthcoming EU initiatives and policies.

The co-leaders of the Working Groups and the Task Force will present their annual work plan for 2024, providing an opportunity for members to familiarise themselves with the planned activities and discuss their potential involvement in the planned work.  

The meeting will also be a great opportunity to present the new ERRIN project development tool and update the members on the implementation of the European Missions of interest to this cluster: the Soil Mission, the Ocean and Waters Mission and the Climate Adaptation Mission.  

The meeting will take place at Cities Northern Netherlands EU Office, Rue de Treves 59-61 in Brussels. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided. Please see the agenda attached.
