Online Event on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)

Online event: Researchers’ Mobility with EU Marie-Skłodowska-Curie-Actions – New Chances Ahead for Applicants!

Under the patronage of the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts and in cooperation with the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) and GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH, participants will be offered insights from MSCA experts and successful MSCA applicants who will share their experiences.

In 2021, further opportunities will open up even after this MSCA call. Due to the popularity and over-subscription of the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie programme, many high quality proposals will very likely not receive EU funding. But researchers submitting excellent proposals have the chance to be awarded the prestigious „Seal of excellence“ by the Commission. To attract talents to the state of Hessen the Hessian Ministry for Research and the Arts offers a promising avenue for holders of a MSCA Seal of Excellence: If an application is not selected for funding by the EU, but is awarded with a Seal of Excellence, MSCA hosts in Hessia can apply for the Hessian MSCA fellowship. Upon application and within the available budget the state of Hessia has opened a new fellowship programme covering the cost of the incoming MSCA research grant! Researchers submitting their application through an institution based in Hessen can apply.
