Online workshop on mission-oriented policy implementation and learning tools

The Austrian Mission Facility invites policymakers, programme managers and innovation practitioners to an online workshop exploring tools and approaches for implementing mission-oriented and transformative innovation policies (MOIP/TIP).

The workshop will showcase policy learning tools developed by the OECD, the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC) and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), alongside a broader overview of the emerging landscape of support instruments for mission-oriented policy implementation.

The event will also provide an opportunity to exchange experiences with tool developers and fellow practitioners, discuss the benefits and challenges of applying these approaches, and identify emerging needs to inform the further development of policy learning tools.

Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at people responsible for implementing missions at national, regional and local levels; programme managers from funding agencies; and coordinators of demonstration projects, living labs and similar initiatives working towards transformative innovation.
