The meeting will focus on the role of universities and citizens in the future framework programme. On July 3rd the European Commission published the report of the High Level Group on the future of European research policy. The so called Lamy-Report bears the title „Fab-Lab-App” and focuses on the aspect of increasing the impact of European research. The title gives already a summary of the outlined structure of the new programme: science and skills, innovation and competitiveness and global challenges. The report came up with 11 recommendations and underlines the necessary change of universities (more open, more cooperation with business) and the involvement of citizens.
