Pint of Science Belgium 2020

The Belgian edition of the worldwide science festival, Pint of Science, will take place this week across 14 Belgian cities. the festival includes events on the environment, recycling (on earth and in space), bodies and cities. This hybrid event is made up of a mix of physical and digital meetings.

ERRIN's director will speak at the event 'Shaping the city of tomorrow', at 19:30 on Thursday 10 September in Brussels. The event considers the latest research on cities' roles in the transition towards climate-neutrality. Pirita Lindholm will be involved in the discussion  'Prosperous, sustainable, inclusive: meet the 'smart city''. 

During Thursday's event there will also be a citizens consultation on the Horizon Europe R&I mission on climate-neutral and smart cities. You can learn more about ERRIN's input with the cities mission here
