The European Parliament Intergroup on climate change, biodiversity and sustainable development is hosting an online event on the subject of gene drive. The session will explore the need for transformative approaches to conserve biodiversity and how genetic approaches have been identified as tools that can mitigate the impacts of a rapidly changing world. 

The session will consider how gene drive may be able to provide innovative nature-based solutions to major conservation and public health issues. The webinar will also include a chance for participants to ask questions on the safe and responsible development of this field.
