Scotland House Brussels and VisitScotland are delighted to invite you to our upcoming showcase webinar looking at how businesses catering for the visitor economy in Scotland are leading the way in innovating to develop a more responsible, sustainable tourism industry.

This webinar will bring together partners from Scotland’s visitor economy to showcase three excellent examples of how businesses are addressing Net Zero and using new, innovative approaches to deliver on Scotland’s ambitions for a more responsible industry.

Speakers 

Emma Macallster Hall manages Beinn an Tuirc Distillery, producing award winning gins using the distillery’s own hydroelectricity. Running an estate that has been in her husband’s family for over 150 years, Emma is passionate about promoting Kintyre as a tourist destination in Scotland.

Sam Faircliff is the Managing Director of Cairngorm Brewery, an award-winning craft beer maker located in the heart of Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. She is also Scotland Food & Drink’s Regional Food Tourism Ambassador for the Highlands.

Caroline Millar co-owns the Hideaway Experience, a luxury 5-star escape experience, and is Co-Founder and Chair of the Go Rural Partnership, which encourages agritourism. She also sits on the Board of NFU Scotland, the Scottish Tourism Alliance Council, and is a former director and Chairman of the Oxford Farming Conference.
