Rural areas in France post 2027: Designing an integrated response to rural needs
The Rural Pact Support Office in cooperation with the French CAP Network and the Grand Est Region is organising the event 'Rural areas in France post 2027: Designing an integrated response to rural needs'.
The event will take place on 15 December in Reims and will be held in French.
This National Rural Pact event will bring together the French Rural Pact community members to reflect on how to strengthen integrated policies for rural areas and communities in France in the post-2027 policy framework.
Participants will explore how the future National and Regional Partnership Plan (NRPP) can better support a coordinated and holistic approach to the development of French rural areas, in coherence with national, regional and local programmes. Discussions will focus on improving access to services in rural areas and addressing the wider factors that make rural communities attractive, resilient and sustainable places to live and work.
The target audience consists of policymakers at national, regional and local levels involved in the implementation of France Ruralités and in the design of policies for rural areas in the future NRPPs in France, as well as stakeholder organisations representing rural communities.
