SAPHIRe workshop

SAPHIRe workshop: the role of regional actors as health data providers and users

The SAPHIRe - Securing Adoption of Personalised Health in Regions - project is hosting its third workshop in April. The workshop will explore how regions are regarded as powerhouses for innovation and the adoption of personalised medicine, due to its proximity to the citizens.

Regional providiers of health data, such as hospitals, collect huge amounts of data creating the need for an interoperable and accessible database. The workshop will consider the practical and ethical considerations on the use of health data, asking how we can unlock the opportunities heald within these large datasets without breaching patient privacy.

Regional actors, patient organisations, SMEs, start-ups, large companies and regional policymakers in health data technology are all invited to attend.

Please register by 19th March at this link. The programme is attached.
