Science with and for Society in European University Alliances: Cross-Alliances Forum 2023

On 30 November-1 December, the Science with and for Society in European University Alliances: Cross-Alliances Forum 2023 will commemorate the achievements of completed and ongoing R&I projects within the European Universities Alliances. It will also provide for insightful discussions and collaboration among representatives from various European universities, external stakeholders and EU Member States for the future course and sustainable support for Alliances in their R&I domains.

Throughout the forum, participants will delve into best practices and gain valuable insights into the main challenges addressed during the project. Key discussion topics will be shared to define a common R&I agenda, the successful sharing of resources and infrastructures, the exploration of joint structures, the enhancement of human capital within the Alliances, and the strengthening of collaboration with the non-academic sector.

Additionally, there will be dedicated sessions focusing on mainstreaming Open Science practices and examining how the Alliances have effectively involved citizens and society in their activities. Particular emphasis will be given to such vital themes as research ethics and integrity, sustainability, social responsibility, and innovative knowledge applications.

The forum's agenda will feature engaging plenary sessions, roundtables, workshops, and poster presentations supplemented by keynote speeches and presentations from distinguished European policy deciders and academic stakeholders. To enhance accessibility, we are pleased to inform you that the plenary sessions will also be available online
