To allow it to take place online, this year Smart City will take place as Smart City Live - a broadcast television show with interviews, debates and success stories. The sessions will focus on how COVID-19 has impacted cities and redefined citizen's everyday lives.
While the live stream runs all day on the 18th November, there will be a two-day programme of workshops, sessions, side events, which will gather key players and global institutions to tackle challenges posed by the pandemic. The seventh edition of the Smart City brokerage event will also take place virtually.
Main topics the event will cover include:
Enabling technologies
Energy and environment
Mobility
Living and inclusion
Governance
Economy
Infrastructure and building
Safety and security.
