As part of the SMARTER 2020 Conference, a webinar exploring various place-based responses to the COVID-19 pandemic will take place in September. The session will consider the role of S3/S4 governance models as a strategic approach to regional innovation policy in the recovery process. 

The webinar will first focus on the immediate and short-term reactions of regional actors to the health and economic crisis, it will then move on to showcase various medium and longer term approaches, discussing policy implications at various levels.
