The conference "State of art of gender medicine in Italy and European challenges"  will be held in Ferrara, Italy on 6th-7th December 2019.

The event is aimed at presenting the research and application of GM in Italy, that approved in 2018, a National Law (3/2018) for the spread of Gender Medicine, followed by an Implementation decree on the application and dissemination of the Gender Medicine in June 2019 – at the moment unique national law on this matter in the EU.

The workshop will also present the results of actions, coordinated by the University Center for Studies on Gender Medicine of the University of Ferrara, between September and November 2019 adressed to the production of:

• Consensus Papers Collection on various topics concerning Gender Medicine as a result of expert opinion synthesis and blind consulted experts with the Delphi Method;

• Guide to Gender Medicine in Italy 2019.

On the 7th december the workshop will focus on Gender medicine dissemination and future challenges in Europe and will see the participation of national  representatives and academics from EU member states.
