A series of workshops for the EIP on AHA begins in October with 'Co-mapping a strategy towards efficient social prescription for older adults in Europe'. 

The event will consider the benefits of social prescription for GPs, nurses and other primary care professionals as well as patients as a way to support and promote active and healthing ageing. The workshop will present person-centred approaches and ICT tools, developed in the context of H2020 EU projects. 

The workshop will:

• Raise awareness about innovative procurement for digital transformation in healthcare and social prescription 
• Address drivers and barriers towards the social prescription in regional, national and EU level
• Promote older adults and healthcare professionals' knowledge and skills of exploiting digital solutions in collaboration with health professional organisations and academia.
