Transport WG meeting: European automated mobility initiatives: From research and testing to deployment

Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) continues to be a strategic area for Europe's transport transition, bringing together research, innovation, testing and deployment activities across multiple European initiatives and policy frameworks.

This ERRIN Transport Working Group meeting will provide an opportunity to explore the latest developments in the European automated mobility landscape and discuss how different initiatives contribute to the large-scale deployment of automated mobility solutions across Europe.

The session will feature updates from the European Commission on key ongoing initiatives, including the CCAM testbeds, ECAVA, ADA Cities and the evolving European research and innovation landscape supporting automated mobility. Speakers will also provide insights into current discussions related to future European partnerships and collaborative frameworks in this field.

The meeting will offer ERRIN members the opportunity to exchange directly with Commission representatives and stakeholders on the challenges and opportunities associated with the deployment of automated mobility solutions in regions and cities. Particular attention will be given to the role of local and regional authorities in testing, implementing and scaling innovative mobility solutions, as well as the importance of collaboration between public authorities, industry, research organisations and innovation ecosystems.

The session will conclude with an interactive discussion on future priorities, deployment needs and opportunities for regional and local stakeholders to engage in and benefit from European automated mobility initiatives.
