The North-East Regional Development Agency, Iași County Council and Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Belgium, in collaboration with Amazon Development Centre Iași, are organising a special event highlighting innovation progress in Romania, with a focus on the North-East Region. It will take place on 6 May at 18:00 at the Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy.

In the last 20 years, Romania has made significant progress in building a competitive technology sector centred in Iași. Recognised as the country's cultural capital and a hub for technological talent and academic excellence, Iași has emerged as a key reference point for the technology industry in Eastern Europe.

By fostering collaboration across the private, public, and academic sectors, the North-East Region has enhanced its competitiveness and attracted significant investment, thereby creating conditions for retaining talent.
