Workshop: DT4REGIONS and Living-in.EU Joint Capacity Building Programme

Workshop: DT4REGIONS and Living-in.EU Joint Capacity Building Programme

ERRIN's DT4REGIONS project and the Living-in.EU initiative are organising a joint interactive workshop with the aim of sharing the results from the recently closed capacity building and stakeholder mapping survey and further scoping the needs of cities and regions in terms of training in the field of digital transformation. The workshop will also serve to align the two initiatives in terms of their scope and expected results of the joint mutual learning process.

All officers, experts and policymakers working for European regions and cities and interested in applying digital transformation processes in their institutions are invited to join.

The event will take place on 31 March at 10:00-12:00 CEST.

Public authorities at the local, regional and national level, policymakers, supporters and signatories of the Living-in.EU declaration, as well as DT4REGIONS project partners and supporting organisations, will have a chance to reflect on a joint approach for improving the capacity and increasing knowledge on the digital transformation of European cities and regions.

As part of the workshop, a 1-hour interactive session will be held where participants will have an opportunity to get to know other cities and regions interested in engaging in the capacity building programme of the two initiatives and exchange on their needs in terms of training in the digital transformation field.

Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is obligatory. Please register here.

The DT4REGIONS project aims to support digital transformation in European regions by creating a platform that will serve as a one-stop-shop to enable the development of open-source AI and Big Data tools and services of public interest, enhancing public administration efficiency and effectiveness in user-centric services.

The Living-in.EU “Join, Boost, Sustain” declaration invites European decision-makers of EU cities and communities to bring the economic and social benefits of the digital transformation to all local communities and implement an inclusive digital Europe, with powerful digital services, technologies, infrastructures and skills.
