Zuid-Holland has the industry, knowledge institutes and transportation capabilities to be Europe’s Hydrogen Hub and supply Europe’s hydrogen demands. In triple helix collaboration, this region strives to contribute to international and national climate objectives, under the flag of Europe’s Hydrogen Hub: Rotterdam/Zuid-Holland.

Region’s high-level representatives and Brussels officials from the European Commission and Parliament will elaborate on the importance of hydrogen in the energy transition. Participants will debate on Zuid-Holland’s contribution to the goals set in the European Green Deal and how they could strengthen each other and get fit for 55% energy reduction by 2030.

The triple helix of Zuid-Holland will be represented by the regional government, industry and knowledge institutions. Representatives from the Port of Rotterdam, Nouryon and the Delft University of Technology will take the floor.
