Third Forum of the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change

The Third Forum of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change will take place on 23 May 2024 in Brussels under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. During 22 May, parallel field trips to various locations in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels will be organised, and the day will conclude with a joint networking event.

Shaping the content NEB Facility: ERRIN NEB Task Force meeting

ERRIN members are invited to join the next NEB Task Force meeting, which will focus on the recently announced NEB Facility. The meeting will include the participation of the JRC, which will present the two components of the facility. It will allow members to provide direct feedback and inputs to support the shaping of the content and coherent planning of the Facility.

Converging technologies: Towards healthcare of the future

This Belgian presidency conference will bring together prominent academics and policymakers to explore the healthcare of the future with technologies and the potential of the different European partnerships and infrastructures during the captivating two-day conference from 28-29 May. This conference will be an opportunity to gain insights into the potential of technologies and innovative approaches for better well-being and health.

The Pact for Skills for CCIs - What next after the Year of Skills?

ERRIN Design & Creativity Working Group is hosting a meeting to discuss the Pact for Skills, its achievements and its legacy. The meeting will offer ERRIN members an overview of the current developments in the Large Scale Partnership for CCIs and some concrete ongoing examples in a dialogue with the European Commission.

European Maritime Day 2024

The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy. European Maritime Day 2024 will take place in Svendborg, Denmark, on 30-31 May 2024, as a physical event. 

EU Cancer Mission - First project cluster policy webinar: Understanding Cancer

The first Mission Cancer project cluster policy webinar will explore how to work together to make better use of project results in the area of understanding cancer. This #EUHPP Live Webinar will bring together stakeholder and citizen perspectives on research and innovation, providing early exposure to the cluster projects launched under the Cancer Mission.

European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)

The 2024 edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place from 11 to 13 June 2024 in Brussels and online. The theme for EUSEW 2024 will be “Net zero energy solutions for competitive Europe”.

Digital Ocean Forum 2024

The Digital Ocean Forum 2024 will take place on Thursday 13 June, both in-person in Brussels and online. It will be the occasion to unveil the prototype of the Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO) and to showcase what the EU DTO, as a Commission public service, can do for the sustainable development of our blue economies and the management of our ocean resources.

Tech4SmartCities 2024

Tech4SmartCities 2024 will be organised on 18 June, back to back with the GreenTech Forum Brussels. This B2B event focuses on sustainable and smart digital technologies for cities and invites interested stakeholders to discover business and cooperation opportunities in the fields of urban mobility, energy performance, sustainable construction, circularity, low carbon economy and digital transformation. 

Cities Mission Conference 2024

The third annual conference for the Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities will be held in Valencia, Spain, on 25-26 June 2024. The European Commission and NetZeroCities invite political representatives and practitioners from the 112 Mission Cities to celebrate the Mission’s progress and to share valuable insights, experiences, and inspiration. 

Towards a research agenda for the EU Mission on Climate-neutral and Smart Cities

Researchers who have actively worked with Pilot Cities or Mission Cities within the frame of the EU Mission on 100 Climate-neutral and Smart Cities by 2030 are invited to join a collaborative event geared towards advancing research in the Cities Mission. The event aims to develop and foster a robust network of universities and research institutions actively engaged in this endeavour while allowing participants to learn more about the NetZeroCities project and the Mission Cities and potentially develop shared research outputs. The event will be organised on 25 June in Valencia, Spain.

Future Now Forum - Elevating Urban Innovation

The Future Now Forum, held in Linköping, Sweden, on September 16-17, 2024, delves into sustainable urban solutions, featuring international speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions. Additionally, it highlights the innovations and partnerships that positioned Linköping as 2023's European Rising Innovative City. The event unites experts and leaders from various sectors, offering a collaborative platform to address urban challenges and opportunities.

43rd International film festival EKOFILM 2017

EKOFILM is an international film festival about the environment. It’s the oldest film festival on environmental issues in Europe. The theme of this year’s 43rd film festival is AIR.
